One of the largest river in the world is also the habitat of the “river tiger”, the mythical Dorado, an incredible fighter that provides unforgettable experiences for fishing enthusiasts. Surubí, Pacú are other species that make fishing in the Paraná River irresistible. Ayolas, the embarkation place for this great adventure, has a strategic location: it is located a few kilometers from the Encarnación international bridge, the gateway to Argentina or land travel to Brazil.

Day-By-Day

Day 1: Asunción
Arrival at Asunción airport. Transfer to the hotel. Early registration. Breakfast and free time to rest from the trip. In the early afternoon, walking tour of the center of Asunción: built on the hills of the Paraguay River, it preserves colonial vestiges with beautiful parks and exuberant vegetation: free visit to the historic center, the Cathedral, the Pantheon of heroes in the famous Palma street etc. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Ayolas – Boarding the hotel-boat – 5 days 4 nights onboard
Breakfast. Departure in private transport to the port of Ayolas 300 km from Asunción. Boarding is scheduled for midday. Welcome lunch on board, presentation of the crew and start of the navigation. Time to relax. Aperitif and dinner on board including mineral water, soft drinks and beers. Night on board with the possibility of contemplating the beautiful sky in this hemisphere.
Day 3: fishing: first day
Breakfast on board. Navigation towards Cerrito, west of the Paraná River, where stops are planned in the best fishing areas, in small motor boats prepared and equipped for fishing, each handled by local boatmen experts. Return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, time dedicated to fishing and preparing the fish for transport. Aperitif and dinner on board with drinks included. Time to relax.
Day 4: fishing: second day
Breakfast. Start of fishing activities in small motor boats prepared and equipped for fishing, each handled by local boat experts. Return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, time dedicated to fishing and preparing the fish for transport. Aperitif and dinner on board with drinks included. Time to relax.
Day 5: fishing: third day
Breakfast. Start of fishing activities in small motor boats prepared and equipped for fishing, each handled by local boat experts. I’ll return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, time dedicated to fishing and preparing the fish for transport. Aperitif and dinner on board with drinks included. Time to relax.
Day 6: last day onboard
Breakfast. Last activities on board, sailing back to Ayolas where the disembarkation is scheduled after the farewell dinner. Night in Encarnacion.
Day 7: Encarnación – Return to the country of origin or to other destinations
Breakfast. Start of the trip back to the country of origin or to other destinations such as Puerto Iguazú, in Argentina, to visit the Iguazú Falls. Direct flights depart from Puerto Iguazú to Salta, a unique opportunity to visit northern Argentina combined with the Atacama desert, the Salar de Uyuni. Or departure to Buenos Aires for other destinations in Argentina.
