Day by day

Day 1: Asunción
Arrival at Asunción airport. Transfer to the hotel. Early registration. Breakfast and free time to rest from the trip. In the early afternoon, walking tour of the center of Asunción: built on the hills of the Paraguay River, it preserves colonial vestiges with beautiful parks and exuberant vegetation: free visit to the historic center, the Cathedral, the Pantheon of heroes in the famous Palma street etc. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Asunción – Filadelfia (Boquerón)
Breakfast. Transfer to the bus station and departure to Philadelphia. Upon arrival, meet the driver-guide. Visit to the interpretation center of the Chaco: interesting presentation for a global understanding of this region, rich in biodiversity and numerous ethnic groups. Visit to the historical museum of the first Mennonite inhabitants, generally Russian and Canadian immigrants who arrived in Paraguay at the beginning of the 20th century. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Loma Plata-Carmelo Peralta
Breakfast. Departure to Carmelo Peralta (273 km) after a panoramic visit of the flourishing Loma Plata, one of the first colonies of the Mennonites, today a strong industrial center for the production of meat and the export of dairy products. Continuation to Carmelo Peralta in private transport. Upon arrival, board for the splendid cruise through the Pantanal. It is time to contemplate a beautiful sunset. Dinner and evening on board under an incredibly starry sky.
Day 4: Pantanal (Boat)
Breakfast on board. Navigation to the «Riachos» area. First morning of fishing, on board of  launches between the streams of the Pantanal: fishing opportunities for: Cachada, Palmito, Pintado, Barbado, Pacu, Surubí and piranha. Lunch. Free afternoon to discover the trails of Laguna Boggiani, with a local guide. Navigation to the Terere stream. Dinner and at sunset night observation of the fauna from the boat, to discover the nightlife: sounds, colors and silence to know this fantastic nightlife..
Day 5: Pantanal (Boat)
Breakfast. Navigation to the Yacare lagoon with a photographic safari. Day dedicated to relaxation and fishing. Lunch. Appetizer and dinner on board.
Day 6: Carmelo Peralta – Loma Plata
Breakfast. Disembarkation and start of the return trip with a night scheduled in Loma Plata. Time for a brief panoramic visit of the most powerful of the Mennonite Colonies of the Paraguayan Chaco.
Day 7: Loma Plata – Lagunas Saladas – Asunción
Breakfast. Visit the salty lagoons that in the winter months on this continent are filled with colorful flamingos. Start of the return trip to Asunción.
Day 8: Asunción – Other destinations
Breakfast. Visit to Asunción, cities rich in traditions, or continuation of the trip to Ciudad del Este, the gateway to Brazil or Argentina and the Iguazú Falls. From here it is possible to connect several destinations in Latin America by land.
